SmartCare: Solving a Merge Validation error

A merge validation occurs when the structure of the unsaved data gets corrupted.  To fix this, you will want to:

  1. Record any changes that have not yet saved on the document in a separate location for future use.
  2. Save any other documents that may have unsaved changes.  You can access these documents by clicking on the briefcase icon at the top right of the SmartCare window.
  3. Log out of SmartCare and on the message that references Unsaved Changes, click on the ‘Discard All’ option.
  4. Log back into SmartCare and go to the document in which the Merge Validation Error has occurred.
  5. Re-enter any changes that you captured in step 2.
  6. Save the document.

If an error still occurs, please take a screenshot and send it to [email protected]
